A trip to Las Vegas would not be complete without showtime, so enjoy 3 on this amazing singles weekend. Of Course there will be Fireworks, Partying and Gambling!
Day 1: Las Vegas
Arrive at the Las Vegas airport (LAS) and make your way to the Linq Hotel, located at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. This modern resort offers a casino and multiple on-site dining options. It offers direct access to the LINQ Promenade, which features upscale shopping, dining, entertainment venues and The High Roller, a landmark 550-foot tall Ferris wheel.
Meet your host at 3:30pm to start exploring the Las Vegas strip and a few of the different resorts, starting with the Venetian. The Italian city of Venice is recreated with The Venetian with winding canals, gondolas and marble floors. The Gondolier March special tradition happens twice a day so let’s try to catch the 4:30 march. The team of gondoliers sing in unison as they march along the indoor canal. It’s their way of announcing their arrival for a day of serenading. You can take a 15 minute gondola ride for $22.
Next door is the Wynn Las Vegas where we will see the Lake of Dreams with its 40-foot waterfall surrounded by a lush forest, come alive in a spectacle of music and imagery created by over four thousand lights, stunning holographics, and puppetry.
We will cross the Boulevard and stop at the Mirage’s Volcano show that has more bang than ever, thanks to taller explosions, more fireballs and a rock ‘n roll soundtrack. About 7:30pm we will be back at the Linq’s promenade for a bite to eat and to ride the world’s tallest observation wheel for 360-degree views of Las Vegas and beyond.
Day 2: Explore the Las Vegas Strip – New Year’s Eve
There’s a lot to see and do on the Vegas strip so put on your walking shoes as everything in Vegas is big. After breakfast our first stop is Paris Las Vegas for a ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower and a stroll along Le Boulevard with its array of French boutiques and Eiffel Tower memorabilia. Grab a croissant at JJ’S Boulangerie or a crepe from La Creperie. Pose for photos at the Arc de Triomphe, Paris Opera House, Louvre, as we make our way to the Eiffel Tower. Board a glass elevator ride up 460-feet to step out onto the Eiffel Tower observation deck for a 360-degree city view.
Then we cross Las Vegas Blvd to the Bellagio Hotel to visit their famous Conservatory & Botanical Garden. The gardens are transformed for the Christmas season and Bellagio’s holiday display is one of extraordinary beauty. The wonderful fragrances and magnificent colors of the season take over the entire experience.
Our walk continues past Planet Hollywood, the Waldorf Astoria and the Cosmopolitan to New York New York, home to the best roller coaster on the Strip and a150-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty. Take time to explore the hotel, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, or crave a New York snack then check out Nathans or a slice of NY pizza. The Big Apple Roller Coaster will have you defying all gravity through impactful g forces and barrel-rolling 180 degrees at dizzying speeds, with heights of 203 feet and drops of 144 feet. If that doesn’t put you off and you can handle speeds of up to 67 miles per hour – then this ride is for you and is included!
Next stop is M&M World, four floors of chocolate heaven, whether you’ve got a sweet tooth or just love the M&M’s characters. Get your name imprinted on M&M’s, get close-up to an M&M’s sponsored race car or just admire the 22 color rainbow M&M wall. Then we walk through the MGM Grand to the monorail station. Enjoy a relaxing ride back to the Linq.
Time to get ready for our New Year’s Celebration. We will ring out the old and ring in the new, the Las Vegas way, including dinner, a show and of course fireworks. Glamorous showgirls, a live “big band” orchestra, singing, dancing… VEGAS! THE SHOW at Planet Hollywood tells the story of how it all began. The Rat Pack, Gladys Knight, The Pips, Tom Jones, the legends who made Vegas… Vegas! Tonight, the Vegas Strip becomes a giant pedestrian mall and we will join the party outside after the show. View the Bellagio Fountains and spectacular fireworks and watch the tens of thousands of visitors walk the Vegas strip decked out in silly hats, noisemakers and holiday cheer.
Day 3: Las Vegas Strip – Fremont Street – LOVE Cirque
At the Mirage view the giant aquarium tank and come face-to-face with some of nature’s most exotic and majestic creatures at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. Explore, learn and play in an enchanting world of Bottlenose Dolphins, White Tigers, White Lions and Leopards, right in our backyard. The Fall of Atlantis show inside the Forum Shops at Caesars is an animatronic display of fire, water and nine-foot-tall talking statues. The story behind the show is that King Atlantis is unable to make a decision between his heirs, and about who will rule the kingdom, since they all want to destroy each other for the opportunity to be the next ruler.
This afternoon we will board the hop-on hop-off bus for the Fremont Street Experience, a five-block entertainment district in historic downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The highlight of the Experience is Viva Vision, the world’s largest video screen at 1,375 feet long, 90 feet wide and is suspended 90 feet above the pedestrian mall below. Watch the people fly by on SlotZilla, an 11-story slot machine-inspired zip line. If you are brave enough to fly Zoomline is $29 to $49 depending on height and distance. At 6:00pm the light show at Fremont Street Experience begins! Enjoy a light show with high-resolution imagery and state-of-the-art, 600,000-watt, concert-quality sound.
Then we head back to the Strip, by local bus, stopping at the Mirage Hotel for dinner (not included) and The Beatles LOVE Cirque 9:30pm show. Experience Beatlemania bigger, bolder, brighter, and better than ever before and get to know John, Paul, George, and Ringo Cirque Du Soleil style. Enjoy new acts, vibrant costumes, interactive choreography, exaggerated theatrics, enhanced special effects, and seemingly-impossible acrobatics.
Day 4: Grand Canyon or Stay in Vegas – Tournament of Kings
See the Grand Canyon in all its glory with a day (6:30am – 4:30pm) tour. The sights start before you even get to the canyon as we’ll take in the scenery as we pass through the Mojave Desert, driving over the famous Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, and cross iconic Route 66. Once at the Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the deepest and widest part of the canyon, see Eagle Point, Guano Point, and the Hualapai Ranch. Then put your bravery to the test and step out onto the Skywalk (for an additional fee), a path that protrudes out from the canyon and offers incredible views. There will be plenty of chances for awe-inspiring photo opportunities as you explore every inch of the West Rim’s beauty. On the return we will stop at Hoover Dam for a photo op.
