The trip was everything I expected and more. I had wanted to go to Colorado for a long time, because I had never been to that part of the country and kind of knew it would be beautiful and oh so different than New York and the northeast in general.
Anne’s itinerary was great. We started out in Denver (so wanted to see what that city was like), had some really good meals and headed out the next day to explore as much of Colorado as we could. Anne’s friend Bob, a born and bred Coloradan, was our driver and tour guide. We mostly followed the plan, but because Bob and Anne knew the state so well, we would occasionally go off the plan. I saw the most beautiful, picturesque, Rockie mountain topography…and it continued to change and amaze as we drove along. Everything looked like a postcard. We went to lovely mountain towns (my favorite was Telluride), got to hike, saw waterfalls, relaxed in hot springs, rode horses and bicycles and some of us went white water rafting. Took a cog train up to Pikes Peak and saw ancestral Pueblan villages. I learned that there’s so much to do there. So many outdoorsy things. It felt so healthy there.
I really did enjoy.

All along we stayed at the nicest hotels and enjoyed great food and shopping. There was something for everyone. Anne and Bob really made this a dream trip for me. I’m so glad I went and look forward to many more trips in the future.

I met Ann on a singles trip to Belgium and Amsterdam a few years ago with another travel company. A few of us were not interested in all the planned activities. Ann took charge and hired a private guide in Amsterdam one day for us and it was unbelievable! Our picnic in the country was the highlight! She organized some other fabulous stuff to during our own time. For someone who had never been there and was not the “tour escort”, all I can say is Wow! I just got back from a trip to Yellowstone Park and the Grand Tetons. The tour leader was extremely knowledgeable. She took us to places I never would have known about and really explained the history. She even knew where the animals hung out. It was all that Ann promised and more! Hotel accommodations were great, activities were planned every day that were available to those of us who wanted to partake, and we had personal guides rather than commercial tour companies. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the fantastic time we had in Maui and Kauai, and to say thank you for everything you had done to make this such a wonderful vacation. Our group started out as companions and ended up as my new family. Xx Every hike, bike, snorkel and boat ride was beyond beautiful. Each excursion topped the prior one, which I never thought could happen! They just got better and better.
You always accommodated us and allowed us to tweak the activities to suit our needs. From wild adventure to hanging out at the glorious beach or pool. Having local tour guides, who have wide knowledge and inside scoops just added a wonderful dimension to the trip.
